Welcome to the Site Survey Data Bank (SSDB)

The Site Survey Data Bank (SSDB) holds site survey data submitted to the NSF Scientific Ocean Drilling Coordination Office to support the safety evaluation and operations of US Sub-Seafloor Sampling Program expeditions.

For Proponents on Sub-Seafloor Sampling Proposals

Scientists with successful proposals to NSF's Sub-Seafloor Sampling Program use the Proponent Tool to upload site survey data and create data packages in support of their proposals. Please see SSDB for Proponents for further links and guidance.

For Safety and Environmental Panelists and SODCO Staff

The Panelist Tool gives safety panel members and SODCO staff tools for searching and viewing submitted data. Please see the Information for Panelists for further links and guidance.
